Quick thread on a FAQ about the #SAGES2018 meeting app. The app is always asking me to login. Why? Which account do I use?
The #SAGES2018 app allows you to login to the app servers. This has several benefits for attendees to the meeting.
First, logged in users can synchronize app data across multiple devices. So if you have a phone and a tablet decide and/or are using the browser version (ep70.eventpilotadmin.com/web/page.php?p…) of the app your personal schedule, notes, and stars will appear on all devices.
Second, logged-in users will be able to rate sessions and speakers and also use the app to send their questions and/or comments to the podium.
Third, logged in users are able to use the app to send messages to other attendees. Networking at #SAGES2018 made easy!
Finally, if you login we will email you a daily summary of your schedule every morning and include suggestions for sessions that you might also be interested in. You will also have the ability to export all your noted and starred items as a Post-Meeting Report
So that's the why. Now for the how. The #SAGES2018 app accounts are while separate from your member accounts which means your SAGES member login won't work. You will need to create a new account for the app.
If you have logged into a SAGES app at a past meeting (or any EventPilot app, such as the Academic Surgical Congress one), that account WILL work. Otherwise, follow the Create Account link on the login screen to make a new account. You may also login with Facebook or Google acct
If you need assistance logging into the app or creating an account, please contact me here or by email webmaster@sages.org
