Reminder that Trump admin changed the nuclear posture review so that nukes are a recommended response to cyberattacks.

Here is an article on the alleged incoming increase in Iranian cyberattacks. Article doesn't note that top cybersecurity position has been gutted by Bolton, allowing for less oversight and transparency.

2013 NYT article notes that Sheldon Adeldon -- the ultra-right wing Zionist GOP megadonor and Netanyahu lackey who is shaping Trump's Middle East policy -- wants a preemptive nuclear strike on Iran.

Now the admin is warning of cyberattacks from Iran, which I warned in May could be used as pretext for Trump/Bolton's desired war with Iran
As I also noted in my May article, the Trump admin changed the nuclear posture review so nukes can be used in response to a cyberattack, which is an extremely dangerous policy.

Now Mattis is making changes to nuke policy to allow even more options:

Netanyahu, who met with Putin shortly before Trump did, is now claiming he orchestrated Trump's departure from the Iran nuclear deal, and that Iran will disappear newsweek.com/israel-netanya…

People who say "Don't impeach because it won't work" blow my mind. The government is shut down by a nuke-bearing sociopath who serves hostile states with a cabal of criminals whose policies include locking up kids in Texas border camps where they die.

How's that working out?
Will the Senate impeach Trump? Not likely. If Congress did impeach Trump, would he leave office? Nope!

Is starting impeachment the right move? YES. It forces hearings, which in turn changes expectations of accountability. It helps gives the public the information they deserve.
Part of the reason some people are reluctant to accept the sheer horrific scope of what the Trump admin does is lack of consequences. They think "If it's that bad -- if he's an asset, they're criminals -- surely someone would have stopped them!"

They didn't. But they must.
