The @Maya_Protocol Liquidity Auction is live. With this, the $MAYA airdrop for @THORChain $RUNE holders is live too!

Lots of tweets/activity about the airdrop but not much covered specifically for #THORNode operators. Thread time 🧵
Reminder: $RUNE owners get $MAYA airdrop by:
A. $RUNE bonded in a Node,
B. $RUNE symmetrical LP position,
C. $RUNE asymmetrical LP position,
D. Holding $RUNE in a wallet and/or,
E. Holding $RUNE in Maya pools during the auction.

Time to dive into the 'how' for option A.
Step 1. Create a new $MAYA capable wallet (specifically for your $MAYA airdrop):
@THORWalletDEX is the easiest (save your new seed/keystore) and identify your 'maya......' address.

It's Wednesday, so we have a new weekly summary for all of the daily investment posts. This thread includes data from:
@tombfinance / @Reaper_Farm
@HectorDAO_HEC / @nemesis_dao
@osmosiszone / @ThorNodes
@VaporNodes / @AngelNodes

Check it out!
🧵👇
2/ First let's take a look at @tombfinance, staking $TShare / $FTM LP in #autofarm @Reaper_Farm. @FantomFDN #drama caused some lower price action this month, but Tomb shows some consistent returns. Don't care about price, I care about #Compounding
3/ Next, let's look at @HectorDAO_HEC. APR is slow and steady and this project is pretty boring with very low returns. Price action continues to decline, but looks like a bottom is near. The pivot to a bank and $TOR saved the #rebase project, but we'll see what happens with $HEC

Crypto Twitter njooni tupige story: 🧵

Unanunua node, then hiyo node inagenerate passive income. Funds za kwenye treasury zinatumika na protocol ku...

💰 Bounty: Break @thorchain_org to Earn an Attack Bounty

You need to:

a) Bring down the THORChain network (halt/kill).
b) Steal funds from vaults.
c) Cause funds to be lost.

* DDOS vectors aren't included at the moment but may be later.
2/ The network is currently operating in 2 states:

a) TestNet with real nodes but fake bonds.
b) ChaosNet with real nodes, real bonds and real assets on ChoasNet BEPswap.

^ Both are are running the same code. Testing must be done on the TestNet.
3/ You may setup a TestNet #THORNode by using their official documentation:

Which chains do you think will be worthwhile for @thorchain_org #THORNode operators to support?

#THORNodes will consider the net benefits of supporting a new chain, considering the resource consumption of the connected chain on the #THORNode vs. fee revenue generated.
2/ For example BTC may consume 15% of the server resources (disk, memory, cpu etc) but generate 80% of the fee revenue. A chain which consumes 10% resources and generates only 5% revenue may not be desirable.
3/ So which chain does the @thorchain_org community think will fit the profile? Must:

• Cost little resources for #THORNodes

• Generate high fee revenue

• Attract stakers and swappers

• Add value to the @thorchain_org ecosystem for external services to benefit-from

The sentiment around #DeFi is currently salty.

It’ll be hard for CT to distinguish the legit projects from the BS ones.
2/ The @thorchain_org community will need to build confidence.

The network should be able to boast amazing yields too.

Therefore we need to remind CT that:
3/ a) Team is locked until MainNet.

b) The tech is trustless and permissionless.

c) Many big wallets will likely be locked into #THORNode bonds.

d) RUNEVault stakers should be participating as liquidity providers given yields.

This is how the @thorchain_org big bags will fuck you later:

Will be locked in #THORNode bonds making a killing with rewards. Why would you give up a perfectly good business making 7 figs per year?

They’ll gradually take profits only when things are liquid. You won’t feel it.

My gut tells me that @thorchain_org’s #THORNodes aren’t “money transmitters”, they’re validators of a “settlement network” which provide services to clients. It just happens that #ASGARDEX = open source one.

Green light from me ✅

PS: This is not legal advice, just my opinion.
2/ The mistake would’ve been if the #THORNodes also powered a web-based exchange client — but they don’t, and they shouldn’t. Jurisdictions have varying laws about the type of record-keeping, tracking and regulatory compliance exchanges and transmitters must follow.
3/ Best for exchanges handle that side of the ecosystem. @thorchain_org should strictly focus on driving liquidity into its settlement network and that’s all. If ever a web-based exchange was to be embedded into #THORNode’s services, then it would become risky to operate.

So this is interesting for @thorchain_org #THORNode operators:

2) Many features can help with bonding workflows.
3) Question for @thorchain_org — during the rebonding process, is a brand new address generated, or can one be whitelisted? I haven’t looked at the testnet4/docs yet so might be noob question.

🧠 @THORChain_org's Decentralized Liquidity Network creates opportunities for businesses / entrepreneurs / devs

The team is focused on the core swap tech and #ASGARDEX -- but that doesn't mean there isn't opportunity for others elsewhere in the meantime.
2) Any service which aims-to increase network utility via swaps will benefit will increase revenue for #THORNode operators, Liquidity Providers aka stakers -- and ultimately increase the value of $RUNE.
3) An example could be a @venmo style peer-to-peer payment solution, crafted in a way where the service can branch itself out to a variety of integrations, think @Shopify @magento @whmcs @opencart @PrestaShop @drupalcommerce @Ubercart @WordPress @ZenCart
