This is in french, it is me and this is about the future of my both accounts.

tweet 1/?
First and foremost, while having a decent reach on this account, i barely use it.

I actually feel more at ease to casually communicate #gamedev stuff on my personnal @dragutux account, but not with the same reach.

tweet 2/?
The main problem, which i could bear with is that this personal account was intended for micro blogging, having fun while still be decent.
The problem is twitter changes, drastically. It basically ruined my timeline with the new content i seen being trash at best.

Since everything I am doing right now is under lovely NDA, I decided to share my experience for #leveldesign portfolio demonstartion. Moreover, it is not a really well-known topic.

Structure

Usually, people use principle "the better, the higher on the page", but I decided to start as I start in the real life:
-References
-Level flow plan
-Killer-futures
-Art
Aaaaaaannnnndddd... Remember - no gameplay videos with comments.
References

I upload all my references, so people will be able to understand better my initial goal and how I think. This is a part of my #leveldesign #portfolio work:

Having finished #ReturnToMonkeyIsland, I would like to share a thought. Part 1. #monkeyisland #rtmi #guybrush #gamedev #gamedevs
This game and the team have my admiration. It is hard enough to design and execute an excellent game, create a new engine, experiment with the art, deliver on the music.
It is even harder to deliver a game with meaning. It takes bravery to even attempt such a thing. There is almost no chance of pulling it off. So much can go wrong. The meaning might be misconstrued, leading to anger and protest.

Literally. Every. Studio. I. Ever. Worked. Over. The. Last. Twenty. Plus. Years.
Hey, thanks for finishing Fallout Tactics gold master everyone... you are all redundant. Byeeee.

Remember the Tribes 2 team? They fired everyone so they could sell the studio real estate.

Thanks to all the of the outsource team for your hard work- byeeeeee
This is standard industry practice. The core team move on to preproduction and everyone else goes back onto the job market.

I've asked you about the best ways you know to market your game. Here are your answers:

Leading Answer: Build a community organically. You can do this by doing two things

First off, stay active and consistent in posting progress about your project. Gifs and Videos are best. Post even if you feel like you have nothing to show
Secondly, engage with other creators - help them when possible, be social, try to grow THEIR project. What goes around comes around
