In the weeks after Donald Trump became the Republican nominee on July 19, 2016, Donald Trump was warned that foreign adversaries, including Russia, would try to spy on and infiltrate his campaign. 2/7
The warning came in the form of a high-level counterintelligence briefing by senior FBI officials. 3/7
A similar briefing was given to Hillary Clinton. Such briefings are commonly provided to presidential nominees. 4/7
Question is: Why didn't Trump report contacts with Russians to the FBI after the briefings? 5/7
Why did he lie about the contacts with Russians? 6/7
And why is he more upset with the FBI investigating Russian infiltration, than he is with the Russian infiltration? 7/7
