The House GOP has refused to concur with them. And it’s taken them all day to send the bills to conference with the senate.

#lalege must #PassABudget by midnight tonight to avoid government shutdown. ⏳⏳⏳

#lalege must #FixTheCliff by midnight tonight to avoid massive cuts to government programs for higher education, department of health, and child & family services. ⏳⏳⏳

#lalege must produce a #MoralBudget & #RaiseTheEITC by midnight tonight to get the votes needed for the budget & tax bills, and to protect our must vulnerable communities. ⏳⏳⏳

The Senate already found a compromise, where both sides give a little & Louisiana wins a lot.

If this special session blows up, & there’s yet another special session required, make no mistake, that falls squarely on the head of #lalege House GOP.
