/ Welcome to Thursday in the independent republic of Brexitlandia
/ Yesterday was another day of Brexit fucknuggetery which was a pity as the day got off to a good start remembering some veterans whilst also seeking to undo years of cooperation and solidarity
/ The Government continues to exceed its target for poverty in the UK. With Brexit it should be able to double that figure easily and with no one being able to leave the Island there will be plenty of cheap Labour once all the foreigners are removed 🤮
/ Naturally that translates into the following bilge from the Tories - they just want to trap an impoverished workforce - think of post Brexit UK like a giant Dickensian debtors jail
/ It is not all doom and gloom as selfless man of the people @Nigel_Farage may not get his pension. Which is why he now says he never said Brexit would be a success.
/ Perhaps if things are a struggle for @Nigel_Farage he could step up and pick some rotting fruit in the Garden of England before it becomes a lorry park
/ @andreajenkyns who resigned from her role so she could spend ALL her time lying to the British public still believes no deal is better than a bad deal. I suppose No deal will save billions for taxpayers by fully dismantling the state
/ But @andreajenkyns could also not resist a pop at the groups helping defend EU citizens in the UK
/ I mean who the fuck do @The3Million think they are? If foreigners had never come to the Uk in the first place then they would have been fine 🤪
/ I imagine if you came here based on established rights, were denied a vote on a matter directly affecting you, are called a bargaining chip or citizen of nowhere, wrongly get deportation letters, have to reapply for less rights, have seen the Windrush scandal unfold...
/ then naturally forming a lobbying group to make your voice heard is a fucking slap in the face for the country you call home and let’s you pay taxes which pay @andreajenkyns salary. Get your priorities right 🙊🙉🙈
/ Talking of priorities I see Paul Dacre has resigned now the only person left to hate in the UK is himself. I mean with Murdoch selling up, Dacre leaving, Cameron resigning, Farage stepping down from UKIP, Lawson applying for French residency, you can how Brexiters love the UK
/ And still the naedowellery and breach of electoral laws or foreign interference in the referendum apparently had no impact on the will of the people or integrity of the vote
/ I mean while it is hilarious that Dominic Cummings will turn up to a debate about his behaviour about not turning up to debate his behaviour I imagine it makes the UK look like a laughing stock
/ Also a laughibg stock are Labour who published this amendment which is not clear to the many or indeed the few
/ Especially when part of the Government is doing a much better job of being the opposition
/ In a remarkable display of ignorance @DavidDavisMP accused the EU of shooting itself in the foot. Which is funny because it was the Uk that triggered a 2 year clock with no plan. But back then we HELD ALL THE CARDS
/ I mean to complain of discrimination because of your own action does sound lie the behaviour of a two year old melting down in a supermarket. Passerby tends to think “glad that is not me having to deal with that shit”
/ @theresa_may has been accused of deceiving ministers. Now they know how the rest of the country feels
/ Even hard Brexiters are worrying now to which all I can say is lots of us FUCKING TOLD YOU so
/ @DavidDavisMP is refusing to go to Brussels to present the UK backstop option because he does not work after Wednesdays and also because the whole proposal has the coherence of shit being thrown at a fan 💩
/ Apparently in the proposal there is a time limited unlimited backstop that is not limited time save for the time limit that may not be limited
/ One may reasonably ask did the Cabinet not understand what it signed up to in December? Presumably not as they still do not seemed to have grasped what leaving means or what article 50 could lead to. Still it’s THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE 🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️
/ My proposal would be as follows: the Uk shall stay in the Single Market and Customs Union until (a) the death of the last UK citizen living in the UK plus 70 years or (b) the end of the world 👏👏👏
/ Or @theresa_may could just rescind the article 50 notice or maybe just let the people decide if they want to stop this omnishambles
