Alexander Acosta, Trump's Secretary of Labor, has ties to Charles Koch through
George Mason University School of Law. This is only one of many cabinet positions and heads of agencies that are Koch'd-up in Trump's administration. #UnKochAmerica

But do you know what else Acosta is mixed up in?
Jeffrey Epstein's "sweetheart deal" (Trump: "terrific guy") i.e. light sentence he received in a #Florida court battle over allegations that he sexually abused more than 40 minor girls, most of them between the ages of 13-17.
Here's #Virginia Senator Tim Kaine questioning Acosta during his confirmation hearings for Secretary of Labor position about the Epstein case.

washingtonpost.com/politics/labor…
⁉️Oh yeah, and Trump was on the "witness list."
💥In June 2008, Epstein was sentenced to 18 mos in prison after pleading guilty to a single state charge of soliciting prostitution from girls as young as 14. He only served 13 mos before being released during which time he was allowed to make "work-release" trips to his office.
💥The @washingtonpost quotes former Palm Beach police chief Michael Reiter's civil lawsuit deposition, where Reiter said Epstein "got off easy." Reiter's department conducted the original investigation into Epstein's case.
Former Palm Beach Police Chief Michael Reiter accused prosecutors of giving Epstein preferential treatment. He asked that the state prosecutor, Barry E. Krischer remove himself from the case after he made the rare move to bring the case to a grand jury.

nytimes.com/2006/09/03/us/…
Palm Beach Post editorial published on August 10, 2006. "Instead, State Attorney Barry Krischer left the public to wonder whether the system tilted in favor of a wealthy, well-connected alleged perpetrator & against very young girls who are alleged victims of sex crimes."
Alan Dershowitz convinced prosecutors that the girls, aged 13-17 had a credibility problem because they discussed smoking marijuana and drinking on social media.
But the Palm Beach Post asks what about Jeffrey Epstein's credibility problem? The police found phone messages about the girls' schedules and a high school transcript—proving that Epstein knew they were underage. Seems like a slam dunk.
Florida statutory rape law is violated when a person has consensual sexual intercourse with an individual under Age 18. Credibility shouldn't matter because cases are prosecuted when it is a boyfriend/girlfriend situation. But even if it did, there were 40 of them!
At the time of the "settlement" with Jeffrey Epstein when he escaped any federal charges with a "sweetheart deal," Alexander Acosta was the U.S. Attorney for Southern District of Florida at the time and in charge of the case.
palmbeachpost.com/news/crime--la…
Excuses included: victims were reluctant or refused to testify, changed stories, were hard to contact, etc. Federal prosecutors said they were afraid Epstein would evade charges completely and their goal was to get Epstein to register as a sex offender agree to pay restitution.
On the other hand, federal attorneys had drawn up a proposed 53-page indictment that carried potential punishment ranging from a mandatory 10 years in prison up to a life sentence. Throughout the years, the case plagued Acosta.
💥In 2011, he penned a 4-page letter in order to clear up his role in the "sweetheart deal" given to Jeffrey Epstein. Most of the letter focuses on the backgrounds and notoriety of Epstein's legal "dream team."

miamiherald.com/news/politics-…
Epstein's "dream team" included Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz, criminal defense attorney Roy Black and Kenneth Starr, the independent counsel in the Clinton-Monica Lewinsky investigation. Seems like the "dream team" was overwhelming, scary and mean to his prosecutors!
In this Sun-Sentinel article, reporter Michael Mayo lists other cases where the federal gov't gave out stiffer sentences for sexual cases.
sun-sentinel.com/news/fl-palm-e…
A Palm Beach County man who had nude photos of children on his computer & cut a deal to serve 10 yrs in federal prison; a former biology teacher from Broward who expects a 20-yr federal sentence after recently pleading guilty to repeat sexual encounters with a 14-year-old student
Michael Mayo (cont'd): Or James "Red" Mozie, who specialized in recruiting underage teen girls for his Oakland Park brothel known as "The Boom Boom Room." Federal prosecutors recommended & the judge gave him life in prison after a jury convicted him in 2011.
⁉️But perhaps there are some clues as to why Epstein received the "sweetheart deal" in a declaration from a lawsuit filed by Virginia Roberts & another Jane Doe against U.S. District Court Southern District of Florida, suing them for not contacting her before making the deal.
Here's an excerpt from Virginia Roberts AKA Virginia Giuffre's declaration.
And another excerpt from Virginia Roberts AKA Virginia Giuffre's declaration.
Virginia Roberts AKA Virginia Giuffre mentions a few times in the declaration that Epstein wanted information about his powerful “friends,” their sexual exploits…and also told people that some of the rooms had videotape in them.
theguardian.com/uk-news/2015/f…
“Based on my knowledge of Epstein and his organization, as well as discussions with the FBI, it is my belief that federal prosecutors likely possess videotapes and photographic images of me as an underage girl having sex with Epstein and some of his powerful friends,” she said.
Also in Virginia Roberts AKA Virginia Giuffre's declaration are more allegations about Alan Dershowitz.

Dershowitz has strongly denied the allegations.

Read #31.
⁉️Did Jeffrey Epstein provide information to the FBI that was a quid pro quo for getting a lighter sentence? If so, I wonder what it is...
