Women in tech don’t need promoting or distinguishing from men. We (and folks from other/intersecting marginalised groups) need including as equals, not some kind of “special treatment” which continues to only value us as tokens or others. That is inherently sexist.
Distinguishing women from men is often harmful (not least to non-binary folks) as it perpetuates useless and negative stereotypes.

The only way we need distinguishing is through raising our voices and work above privileged men in order to level the horribly unequal status quo.
And doubly so for people of colour, LGBTQIA+ people, people with disabilities, older people, younger people, low-paid and unemployed people.

Listen to people from marginalised groups. Raise up their voices and promote their work. Enable them. Give them power.
