For years now so many people have been looking at the existential threat that is Donald Trump and this unethical Republican Party and saying trust the system. These people were always protected by that system.
They were cogs in that machine. They bought their groceries with money from the spectacle of entertainment politics and didn’t worry about the people being terrorized and used.
It makes so pissed and so sad all at the same time. The writing has always been on the wall. This fascism and this oligarchy wasn’t even well hidden. It was there for everyone to see.
They called everyone who called it by its name an alarmist. Well, there was a need for an alarm and we’re all alarmists now.
