2) So, he's on the committees that would have been aware of these kinds of details for the Iran Deal, Nuclear AND Foreign Affairs, and in fact he was the CHAIRMAN of the Nuclear committee.
3) Note that he's also a cleric, and before he was a member of parliament he was part of the Supreme Leader of Iran's staff, and served as a deputy representative to the IRGC.
4) So, this guy isn't JUST some random Iranian official. He worked directly for the Supreme Leader of Iran, he worked with the IRGC, AND he's a member of the Iranian Parliament and lead one of the key committees in the Iran Nuclear deal, specifically their Nuclear committee.
