Market inefficiency, especially in knowledge, is a key criterion for selecting a game of skill.

Humility recognizes and respects the dispersion of potential outcomes.

"I am 100% certain that Lux will be investing in the most cutting-edge, crazy things that you can imagine in the next two years...I have no idea what those things will be. None...near 100% certainty where we will find those things.”

Directionally rigid, detail flexible.

“What can you do, or what can you assert that you can do that will scare competitors that nobody else can do? From that flows good unit economics.”

Edge always shows up in gross margin. A successful business is good unit economics at scale.

The biggest harvest comes from a team of plough horses working alongside show ponies.

The most reliable path to being smart is avoiding stupidity. Said differently, rule #1 is don’t blow yourself up.
