This statement is very important.PKK's Iranian branch is the most organised opposition group inside Iran followed by other Kurdish parties,Ahwazi Arabs(3 MOG),Balouchis(mostly underground but very organised called SAHAB).1/10
Azari people who are mainly organised by NGOs(based in uni&abroad)but they may find support in possible changes in Iran by Turkey and Azerbaijan.
The difference between these groups is that PKK's branch(PJAK)has a significant armed forces positioned inside&outside of Iran.2/10
PJAK's forces are positioned inside Iran as you can see in this img, and also have bases inside Iraqi Kurdistan used for training, media etc.
This statement doesn't belong to PJAK. It is the PKK who designs PJAK's strategy and in most cases its tactics. 3/10
PJAK's statements must get PKK's confirmation. If not, then PKK may ask PJAK to release a new one in order to clarify PKK's position. This statement shows that the PJAK(PKK) is willing to sit down with Tehran in any upcoming scenarios similar to Iran-PKK agreement in Syria. 4/10
Sunni Arabs ignored the Kurds,in response PKK ignored Syrians' movement. Therefore,Iran managed to save Assad by focusing only on destroying opposition groups.
IRI-PKK relations are deep but very complicated. Both PKK&IRI have always tried to prevented any direct clashes. 5/10
The situation in Iran is becoming more complicated. Apart from minorities central Iran(Fars/Persians)have no opposition groups to lead them. And other opposition groups(minorities)and minorities inside Iran don't want to sacrifice their people/themselves first.6/10
Even if a united opposition in Iran could be established still minorities won't follow the central opposition group/groups. This is because of developments since 1979 and even prior to that and lessons they have learned. 7/10
If People in Iran start mass protests to overthrow the regime, a PKK-Iran agreement could weaken the efforts to overthrow the regime because having the Kurds not fighting the regime could make it much easier for Tehran to deal with the people in central part of the country.8/10
Other Kurdish opposition groups(KDPI,Komalah etc)have shown interest in working with @PahlaviReza & one of them(Khabat)participated in @Mojahedineng's rally in Paris.Neither of these groups(Monarchist/MEK)have presented any projects concerning the Kurds and other minorities.9/10
Therefore, PKK's agreement with Iran in return for a Kurdish region(PKK-PJAK wish)like in Syria could be much attractive for the Kurds in Iran than having an uncertain future working with Iranian groups who try to play the role of opposition groups. 10/10
