Ok - I’m now halfway through @eladgil’s new book and here’s why it’s so good for active founders in scale mode
1/ it’s the right engaging mix between interviews and thoroughly outlined educational content on how to do the tactical things you actually need to do: fundraising, board management, hiring execs etc
2/ Elad found the right experts who have done it before and cut the interviews up so they were very tactically relevant to each section, which isn’t usually how interview books are structured. This is a good format!
3/ this makes it easy to share with members of my team: I.e “you need to read this section specifically because it pertains to your job”. It also makes it easy to refer back to specific sections when you actually need them
4/ the interviews themselves are very focused and have great tactically relevant information you can apply directly to your situation. It feels just as useful as having a conversation with these experts yourself.
5/ most business books have one core idea and then are 90% filler content to make a whole book. Not the case here at all!
