What IDS writes shows WTO law ain’t his thing. Let’s start with the basics. He writes that after Brexit the UK would become a full voting member. Great. The WTO doesn’t really do voting though. As a rule, it decides by consensus. Art. IX:1 WTO Agreement. Votes: extreme exception
He writes it’s nonsense that the EU forces the UK to put up borders. The WTO is about reducing trade barriers. Engineering deliberate delays is outlawed. OK. Let’s take this one.

Party establishments and machines get a lot of flak, not just in the US and around the world. It would be safe to say that even people who vote for a party often despise its institutions. 2/
A lot of this criticism is fair (again, regardless of side). Party establishments can be and sadly too often are full of venality, nepotism, and mutual back scratching despite corruption or worse. All true. 3/

A look at battery cost declines and why so many people thought there would never be an affordable #EV
When $TSLA launched the Model S this is what the cost decline for lithium-ion batteries looked like.

Analysts and forecasting agencies figured batteries were a mature technology and had reached a price floor.
But, for manufactured goods, cost decline forecasts shouldn't be time based or made by dragging forward historic declines. Wright's Law is relatively robust and states that for every cumulative doubling in production, there's a fixed percent cost decline
