A lot of talk about ministers and civil servants 'making preparations for a No Deal #Brexit'. The government has been unable to even agree on Brexit in any other acceptable form over the last two years, so the worst possible outcome will be delivered. And you know what? The ➡️2
➡️2 Fucking fuckers will fucking get away with it! 'You voted for Brexit, we never defined Brexit, you have your Brexit. We said best possible, this is the best we could do. You didn't hit the streets, you didn't sign the petitions, you sat back and did nothing like you ➡️3
➡️3 always do, apathy rules right? You believed the lies, you didn't express outrage that Vote Leave cheated and broke the law. You allowed us to deport your foreign neighbours without so much as a whimper. You fought and squabbled with each other over a # rather than ➡️4
➡️4 fight for democracy which is crumbling before your eyes. You allowed blind loyalty to lead you by the nose to the worst kind of Brexit. You think you have won, you have won nothing, you will all lose. You have no one to blame but yourself, your apathy & your blind loyalty.

So, as Mr Farage @nigel_farage said, this leaflet popped through our doors before the Referendum at a cost of £9M, This is probably the only research most people did, it was certainly true for me. Like most people, I took the EU for granted, it was just, there.

It was the most important decision of our lives, the government made it clear that we already control our own borders and there would be tough new restrictions on access to our welfare system for new EU migrants. The government was clear we should stay in the EU.

This is the first mention of leaving the Single Market, not that 'we will' as Farage keeps saying, but leaving will create uncertainty & risk. The government made it clear being in the Single Market means more jobs which rather disagrees with Mr Corbyn's Jobs First #Brexit

I don't blame you for voting for a lie, it was a slick, well executed lie. Yes, the remain campaign was weak and pathetic. I don't blame you for wanting more money for the NHS, who wouldn't? We all do.

Forse mi son perso qualcosa. Ma il governo italiano che fa?
Facciamo un esempio: in Italia risiedono 28.168 cittadini britannici.

Dopo la Brexit diventeranno extra-comunitari. Cosa ne facciamo in caso di no-deal? Tutti espulsi con foglio di via il 30 marzo?

Oppure li facciamo votare alle elezioni comunali come ora?
Un alto esempio banalotto: l'Italia esporta 760 milioni di euro di vino, di cui 300 milioni di prosecco.

In caso di no-deal servono doganieri per le pratiche di esportazione. E chi glielo dice ai trevigiani che devono prendersi un broker a Dover per sdoganare?

‘No deal’ is dead: the @EUCourtPress Advocate General‘s opinion is that the UK can unilaterally revoke article 50 under certain circumstances. So we don’t have to leave the EU without a deal unless we’re irrational enough to decide that’s what we want
Parliament will rightly now be able to consider the Government’s legal advice on the ‘Withdrawal Act’ before it has to vote whether or not to accept the Govt’s #Brexit deal next Tuesday

#Brexit as a concept is increasingly drifting from having anything whatsoever to do with the mechanics of leaving the EU. It is now primarily a culture war and both sides will totally ignore the details except for when they are temporarily convenient.
The consequence of this is that our future relationship with the EU will be just as readily ignored as our activities as a member. They said Brexit would make us isolated, self absorbed and insular but it seems that was always the case and there are no signs of that changing.
As ever the details will be delegated to officials and civil servants while our establishment politics drifts further into its cycle of decline, unable to usefully influence external events making us entirely passive and reactive to events rather than self-interestedly engaged.

2. We have already seen a number of weak attempts from various wonks, MPs and think tanks, all of whom are missing the point
