As the #Aquaman trailer debuts, can we take a minute to appreciate the superhuman patience of Jason Momoa?

but CONAN didn't work and he was promptly killed off in GoT, and then he did a bunch of forgettable stuff

Momoa didn't really capitalize on his GAME OF THRONES (2011) sex symbol status until he was cast as Aquaman for BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN, which didn't come out until 2016.
AND HE WASN'T ALLOWED TO EVEN TALK ABOUT GETTING CAST IN IT FOR LIKE A YEAR!

So then BvS comes out and Momoa's confirmed as Aquaman in a three-second cameo
And then Momoa has to wait another year for JUSTICE LEAGUE to come out so people can actually see him *playing* the part

Jason Momoa has been waiting for his moment in the sun as a leading man since he got cast as Aquaman, which according to his Wikipedia page was in June of 2014.

I'm looking forward to the movie now, but even if I weren't I'd have to give serious respect to Jason Momoa for patience.
