Overall, his approval is fairly inelastic. Stays in a narrow range. The downside is that it isn't breaking through lows. The good news is that it is little moved by good wks.

Heading into the midterms, it would be worse for us if Trump's approval showed more volatility (e.g. bounced btwn 35% and 55%).
That kind of movement would suggest a big chunk of people were potentially susceptible to short-term manipulations (like NoKo Summits).

A floor in the mid-30's is unpleasantly high (and I still think could drop out as Mueller news unfolds).
I'll happily take that in exchange for a ceiling in the mid-40's though.
