Per WaPo NK is working on 1 or 2 liquid fuel ICBMs. The plant location is said to be Sanumdong, which is north Pyongyang where Hwasong-15s are manufactured. SK JCoS announces it's examining intel but won't respond to foreign reports using anonymous sources

Some attempt by SK JCoS to downgrade the report and highlight that the sources are "anonymous." But was this the only expansion of NK's missile facility? We recall Pompeo confronting Kim Yong-chol and accusing NK of "expanding" its Hamhung missile plant
Yomiuri reported in mid-July that Pompeo confronted Kim Yong-chol re not only Kangson but Hamhung's missile plant that seemed to be undergoing expansion work. Kim responded that the construction was to "prepare for the rainy season."
That's a different plant. But the one in Sanumdong is the same place KJU visited on December 21, 2017, when some US observers thought NK was about to launch a satellite into orbit.
