Support for Brexit is shrinking fast

Each of these, in its own right, constitutes a reason for abandoning Brexit. Together they create an unarguable imperative in the interests of the majority of people in the UK
Brexit is an unfortunate word, it is both meaningless and meaningful. Meaningless in real terms because it does not adequately describe the cessation of long-standing, complex and important Treaty obligations and rights. Meaningful in a mythical sense as an object of aspiration.
Government, in choosing to pursue the myth of Brexit, has failed to think ahead and consider the most profound of difficulties which now emerges and that is the essential relationship between market and state.
In relinquishing a presence in the EU Internal Market the United Kingdom will be adrift in the Global Market which, like it or not, exists in a form never before achieved by humankind.
At the same time the State, whose existing constitutional and legal fabric is deeply interwoven with the EU Acquis communautaire, has no workable alternative in place.
The government is moribund. Its Prime Minister is unable to bring a Withdrawal Agreement to Parliament. If she cannot, she must resign. No successor will be acceptable to the People without a General Election to breathe life into a new administration.
