Kessler was a far left activist as recently as 2015. Yes, that Kessler, the founder and promoter of Unite The Right.

Reading this made me nauseous. I recognize this man.

I have had many arguments with him.

I block him several times a day but he keeps coming back, well not him exactly, something closer to the10,000th derivation molded from an original copy.

What is happening, is happening across the political spectrum, is the White guy in this story is so unable to give up being the center of attention that he consciously jettisons his claimed value system and adopts the only one capable of returning him to his old position.

This is the absolute perfect, unfiltered example of privileged whiteness in its death throes and instead of evolving rebirths in a childlike state of toxic selfishness. He is a child who b has never been taught to share and rejects any example that requires him to share.

This is what happened to all of the suddenly nativist Trump men. The ones who just five years ago we saw at softball games who looked like nice normal family men with no obvious resentments faulting his personality. Some of them voted for Obama.

But then they stepped back.

As they did so they noticed that there was no one there to applaud his magnanimity. The applause had shifted.

Eyes were turned elsewhere.

This is a deeply sick psychological unraveling here, but it is also a remarkably mundane and logical explanation for Trumpism.

Think of all of the pushback I got for merely suggesting that straight white guys take a back seat, something that the rest of us have always done.

And it worked. I was forced to remove the message and me the messenger was removed through suspension. This was my warning.

It all makes perfect, ugly sense.

We will be seeing this devolution more and more in the coming decades.

White people have held the reins of power for so long. They have decided who got what when, and who was even allowed a space a the table. That sense of entitlement and supremacy is deep seated.

I feel like I'm seeing the world in a new light this morning.

You know that one loud, mean, bratty, hulking toddler you come across every once in awhile. The one who walks up to other kids and snatches their cookie and when he can't just knocks it from their hand instead?

Well that kid is the perfect metaphor for what's happening all around us.

My fear is that these adult babies have no one to guide their development, to help them mature past this stage.

But I feel satisfied that I understand what's happening.
