Expect reactions to this to be heavily influenced by EU referendum preferences. Remainers will see it as evidence of economic harm being done by Brexit. Leavers will see it as evidence that prospect of Brexit is already delivering the outcome many of them wanted (imm control)
May be neither, of course. European economy has been doing much better last few years - v low unemployment, and wages much closer to Britain. So this may have brought forward/accelerated a trend we would have seen anyway.
