Life is a hard journey. We ALL have to admit IT, when wrong! Only alternative is digging in, ever deeper, to that wrongful position (aka 'bad decision bias'). I say to Leavers, now, take another fresh look and rethink! This is ALL our futures! #TriggerIsComing #PeoplesVote soon!
51.9% v 48.1% in an ADVISORY referendum, held more than 2 years ago, is clearly NOT today's #WOTP, so a #PeoplesVote is NOW a MUST HAVE, re any final EU destination - incl. #Remain. Will that happen? YES! #TriggerIsComing, soon.
Using 'poll of polls' data, and excluding 'Don't Know' responses, UK Voters now back #Remain by 54% to 46% - with the trend to #Remain edging upwards, slowly, from Oct16 to Aug18.

1/ EU is arguably less corrupt (pro rata) than UK, USA, China, Russia, which is not to say that it's more efficient?
I'd put it at least 'marginally ahead' of UK/USA & well ahead of China/Russia. UK media has constantly bashed EU, for selfish reasons & infected many minds.

2/ Apart from OUR home mkt of EU27! UK has a growing Global Platform of EU trade deals (in which we have a say!) with 70+states eg S Korea, Canada, Japan. Our exporters ALREADY use that to good effect. Others eg NZ will do a deal with EU ahead of UK, coz of EU's scale.

3/ UK ALREADY sells £70billion to USA & £50billion to China EACH YEAR - without ANY FTA (free trade agreement). £120 billion of annual sales say it can be done NOW if we have the right product/price et al. There is NO barrier than leaving the EU removes!

While UK spirals down & out of control, gripped by self-inflicted Brexit-fixated inward-looking dirty-selfish politics, Major Parties talk to themselves with NO results, so far. Yet, every passing day brings new reasons to put Brexit to a #PeoplesVote with the option to #Remain.
#TriggerIsComing to force a #PeoplesVote on #Brexit, with an option to #endthechaos and #Remain. Many MPs are daily more restive over the lack of a truly #MeaningfulVote - another #May mistake that will come back to haunt #Blukip, after ALL their Lies & wastage of time AND money.
The wheels are falling off 'any Brexit' with each passing revelation of FACTUAL REALITY. Anyone who can't see that (regardless of how they voted) is not keeping up! The doubters in Parliament will be swelling in numbers, by the minute.

IF we do leave the EU, big IF, I predict that there'll be a marked tendency for Remainers to Leave the UK, and for Leavers to Remain, stuck here. Losers perpetually banking on Winners to just suck it up, and blithely bail them out, just #May be disappointed. There, I've said it!
Close relatives who departed these shores in the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's, 10's felt they perceived a better future 'elsewhere'. Am beginning to get it, at last! I #May be a slow learner, or just late to awake to the now revealed realities of the UK, and its 'true prospects'.
Of course, there's an easy alternative. Put the latest EU options (realistic ones only, please, including #Remain!) to a new #PeoplesVote - That should inform us as to the current #WillOfThePeople. That'd be a great start! Better late than never!

How about a #Remain manifesto, agreed & promoted by all major Remain groups? #RemainManifesto

The purpose would be to explain how, if we Remain, we can address Leave's concerns and can commit a future govnt to enact them, to the letter. 1/20
The manifesto could address the main reasons we have been told for the Leave vote.

It could focus purely on the key areas - immigration, sovereignty, EU federal plans, EU wastefulness.
It could detail precise ways in which we can protect ourselves from these concerns. 2/20

But I think we should only address the areas directly detailed as being the reasons for the Leave vote. Not what we suspect may be underlying. 3/20

Remain & #PeoplesVote has grown *despite* the best efforts of the Tory & Labour Leadership, and the idea that #Brexit is inevitable has been killed

Whoever delivers a messy & costly Brexit will have to answer "but why did you carry on?"

The left (as in Labour members) don't *need* Lovebombing, they already know #Brexit is bad
3) the plea to "Lovebomb the Left" to stop #Brexit is really a plea to Lovebomb Corbyn & his associates, to pander to his ego and persuade him to do the right thing on #Brexit.

Why the f**k should we have to?

 I have a serious problem with what my function is on twitter these days. And I doubt I'm alone. When we started off this whole Remain thing two years ago, there weren't many of us. And we worked night and day to get the message out about the benefits of EU membership.

 With no help at all from the mainstream media or political parties, we were often the first to articulate the massive problems which came from triggering A50. Our mission was to educate people, to fight Leave lies, and never to ease up on the pressure.

 And to a large extent, I think we succeeded. We made sure Leavers couldn't get away with lying. We kept Remain on the agenda and refused to leave the stage. We fought Kippers, Tories, Gammon and Corbynistas - or at least, those of us did who didn't want a career in Labour!
