Sean Spicer's first press briefing was on January 23, 2017.
The Flynn investigation was about to close until "The Logan Act Stuff".

Sally Yates, James Clapper and John Brennan argued whether to sink Flynn the day before Trump was inaugurated, on January 19, 2017, with Comey being against it.

James Comey only gave his authorisation after Sean Spicer discussed the Flynn-Kislyak calls on January 23, 2017.

On the exact same day as Comey tells Yates to raise the issue with McGahn, FBI agents are texting each other.

"I can feel my heart beating order, I'm so stressed out about all the ways this has the potential to go fully off the rails."

The investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation - which now included the Flynn-Kislyak calls - was known to Sally Yates and others.

I wonder what date in January 2017 Sally Yates signed Carter Page's FISA?

Sally Yates was also one of the officials - with Susan Rice, James Comey, President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden - who met up on January 5, 2017.

For reference:

* Jan 19: Yates, Clapper, Brennan and Comey discuss.
* Jan 23: Yates and Comey agree to tell White House about Flynn-Kislyak calls.
* Jan 24: FBI agents interview Flynn.
* Jan 26: Yates tells McGahn.
* Jan 27: Trump and Comey have dinner.
* Jan 30: Yates fired.
