In a symbolic bone thrown to Bernists, the DNC overwhelmingly agreed to have superdelegates only vote at a nominating convention in the unlikely case that more than one ballot is needed.

Since superdelegates have never affected the outcome of any primary process anyway, and I think all Democratic presidential nominations since 1952 have been decided on the first ballot, this rules change is unlikely to have any impact whatever.

But Bernistas insisted on it. so let's assume they're happy now, especially since it was enacted by an overwhelming voice vote. We won't be hearing them whine anymore, right?
