On Aug. 31, @WhiteHouse announced @POTUS would go to Paris to participate in a Nov. 11 commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the WWI armistice and while in Europe, "the President also will visit Ireland to renew the deep and historic ties between our two nations."

We're expecting a @WhiteHouse statement soon on this.

Trip to #Ireland by @POTUS postponed for "scheduling reasons," the government in Dublin announces.
