Given the facts released today by the Judge on the child fostering case that formed the basis of 4 front pages at The Times, there is little doubt that Andrew Norfolk should resign and The Times should issue an unequivocal apology.
This is worse than the other 50+ corrections I have been able to elicit, for inaccuracy.

This "disgracefully dishonest" reporting cannot be seen as a mere error.

There is little doubt that Norfolk appears to have intentionally withheld facts and twisted a story, to elicit 4 front pages.

@pguk10 has laid this out clearly pressganguk.wordpress.com/2018/08/30/the…
Some might argue - "this happened a year ago, just let it go". I'm sorry. This was 4 misleading front pages of a national newspaper that fed a far right narrative on Muslims, written by someone who has STILL not been disciplined & with NO apology.

Whilst the lack of an apology from The Times is bad, the silence from good journalists at The Times and elsewhere is appalling. Their lack of care is deeply hurtful and demonstrates a blindness when it comes to Islamophobia.

Of course some journalists have not let this go and have reported it fairly and responsibly. Thank you BBC's @callummay.

A simple summary of some of the errors here.
A video is available here:
The @NUJofficial needs to look into what the lack of action does, to the reputation of journalists. If 4 race-baiting front pages propagating a false story that feeds the far right hatred of Muslims, does not warrant a resignation, one wonders what would?
The summary ruling by the Judge is available here
