Ex Trump aide George Papadopoulos has been sentenced to two weeks in prison for lying to the FBI about Russian election "dirt."
Papadopoulos' lawyer, Thomas Breen, told a court that that "the message is for all of us to check our loyalty, to tell the truth, and to help the good guys."
Breen described accompanying Papadopoulos to his second FBI interview. In the lobby of the FBI field office were portraits of Trump and AG Jeff Sessions "and were wee going in there to cooperate, potentially against these two individuals."
Judge Moss said he wanted to have Papadopoulos return to court within about 4 months of finishing his sentence to get "feedback" on the proceedings.
