2) Republican lawmakers have repeatedly called on President Trump to declassify the highly-redacted Carter Page FISA Warrant Order & Applications.

According to reporting by Axios, President Trump may declassify the documents as early as this week.
3) DNI James Clapper testified to the lack of corroboration and validation of the Steele Dossier, noting the Dossier had not been verified as of December 2016.

“We couldn’t corroborate the sourcing, particularly the second and third-order sources.”
4) Clapper’s choice of wording is interesting given that the Steele Dossier is primarily composed of second and third-hand sourcing.
5) Wood Procedures also appear to have been ignored.

This is important.

Particularly as it pertains to Carter Page.
6) Woods Procedures - ensure accuracy w/regard to:

1) facts supporting probable cause

2) existence & nature of any related criminal investigations or prosecutions involving subject of FISA

3) existence & nature of any prior or ongoing asset relationship between subject and FBI
7) The third point in regards to Page is particularly important.

@carterwpage cooperated with FBI and U.S. SDNY Attorneys in the Evgeny Buryakov Case involving several Russian Spies.
8) The Page FISA Application references the Buryakov Case.

It also references an FBI Interview with Page.

There was only one meeting between Page and the FBI in 2016.

It happened in March 2016.
9) The FBI meeting was in relation to the Buryakov case – in particular to one of the named individuals.

Victor Podobnyy.
10) We know this in part from testimony Page gave before the House Intelligence Committee during this exchange between Page and Trey Gowdy:

GOWDY: I’m just wondering if you can recall whether the Federal Bureau of Investigation may have interviewed you in 2016?
11) PAGE: During that case related to Podobnyy – I was indeed Male No. 1, someone leaked that to Politico and ABC News in April – I had a meeting in the [SDNY] – or the U.S. Attorney’s Office there on the criminal side – and I spoke with them about that then.
12) Page, who cooperated with the FBI on the case, was almost certainly providing testimony and/or details against Podobnyy in the Buryakov case.

Buryakov plead guilty on March 11, 2016 and was sentenced to 30 months in prison on May 25, 2016.
13) Fired former U.S. Attorney, Preet Bharara and John Carlin, former head of the FBI’s National Security Division, were both involved in the Buryakov case.

14) Yesterday, Carter Page sent out a very interesting tweet:
15) "This” refers to an ABC News article Page linked to his tweet.

The article directly references the Buryakov Case.
abcnews.go.com/International/…
16) Importantly, Page has now confirmed his March 2016 meeting with the FBI & SDNY Attorneys took place on March 2, 2016 - 9 days before Buryakov plead guilty.

Meanwhile, Page has never been arrested nor charged with any crime.

It is highly unlikely he ever will be.
17) Nunes has stated that exculpatory evidence exists that was not included by the DOJ & FBI in the Page FISA Application and subsequent renewals.

The exculpatory evidence likely relates to Page’s role in the Buryakov Case.
18) If the FBI failed to disclose Page’s cooperation or materially misrepresented his involvement in their application to the FISA Court, then FBI Woods Procedures were directly violated.
19) There’s another problem as well.

A declassified version of the Page FISA may already have been circulated to the press.
20) On 4-3-17 Ali Watkins wrote an article for Buzzfeed.

In the article she identified Carter Page as “Male-1” in court documents relating to the Buryakov case:
buzzfeednews.com/article/alimwa…
21) Nowhere in the Court Filing was Carter Page named.

But Page is named, referenced and linked to the Court Filing in the FISA Application delivered to the SSCI.

22) On 4-11-17, a Washington Post article confirmed the existence of the Page October 2016 FISA warrant:
washingtonpost.com/world/national…
23) Information within both articles likely came via leaks from James Wolfe, who was arrested on June 7, 2018 and charged with one count of lying to the FBI.

Wolfe was Director of Security for the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI)
24) Wolfe’s indictment alleges that Wolfe was leaking classified information to multiple reporters over an extended period of time.

It appears that Wolfe leaked copies of the Page FISA Application to Ali Watkins and possibly to the Washington Post.
25) On March 17, 2017, the SSCI viewed the Carter Page FISA Applications.

On March 17 2017 Wolfe exchanged 82 text messages with Watkins, and that evening engaged in a 28-minute phone call with her.

Two weeks later, the first story by Watkins appeared.
26) The Original Page FISA App is 83 pages long – including a final signatory page.

There are approximately 37 fully redacted pages.

Was Wolfe sending pictures of the Page FISA Application to Watkins via his phone.

If so, why would Wolfe send 37 pictures of redacted pages.
27) If these reporters did receive an unredacted copy of the Page FISA, what details, exactly, were not disclosed in their reporting.

Unredacted or not, which other members of the press obtained access to the Page FISA Application in 2017.
28) A full declassification of the Page FISA Application is likely to provide a number of answers and may show if the FBI & DOJ hid relevant details from the FISA Court.

A full declassification may show us if Woods Procedures were violated.
/End.
