@odtorson @NickCrosby Odd even w/o the situation we've now. First, FoM is popular but in UK, so why changing the principle 4 one member (especially if it already got dozens of exemptions). Second, it's one of the key principles everybody shares, giving in ruptures constitutional core of EU (& SM). /1
@odtorson @NickCrosby Third, do you really want such a disruptive member? I don't even think allowing to stay on current terms is a good idea. Fourth, why granting exceptions if UK doesn't even use the control mechanisms which come with FoM? /2
@odtorson @NickCrosby Fifth, as far as I can see that UK either accepts FoM, gets economical crashed or gets a wet border. I wouldn't say that they are in a position to ask for this kind of favours... /end
