“The New York Times’s story is inaccurate and factually incorrect,” he said in a statement. “I will not further comment on a story based on anonymous sources who are obviously biased against the department and are advancing their own personal agenda.”
”But let me be clear about this: Based on my personal dealings with the president, there is no basis to invoke the 25th Amendment.”
The story said Rosenstein told former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe he could possibly get Attorney General Jeff Sessions and then-Secretary of Homeland Security John Kelly on board with invoking the 25th Amendment to oust the president.

Using anonymous sources who were never quoted directly, the New York Times reported Friday that Rosenstein talked about secretly recording Trump last year, and mulled trying to force him out using language in the 25th Amendment to the Constitution
