Willem Petzer created a video response video to the article on him:

Willem says that he had no part in the chat server, it was not run by him and that it was all fake profiles posting on that Discord chat server... But wait for it! /2
He then goes on to say has never expressed a far right idea or expressed sympathies for any far right ideas. Wow. The least you could do is stand by your convictions... 😂 /3
Willem doesn’t understand that he was not special. Dozens of far right channels were leaked by Unicorn Riot and his was just one of many. No-one could fabricate the thousands of messages on the “Willem Petzer Live Chat” server & imitate him & his friends with such accuracy. /4
Anyone who has bothered to go through that server even a little, can see that it could not be faked by someone “pretending” to be Willem – especially for an overseas organisation that probably wouldn’t understand Afrikaans or speak it fluently /5

Statistically, mentally ill people are more likely to be victims of violence than commit violence. To reduce gun violence, we must address availability of #guns & complex cultural issues. We can't focus on the molehill when the mountain's right there. ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/P…
We also unfairly overburden psychiatric professionals by making them responsible & accountable for preventing gun crime. Gun violence still disproportionately harms communities of color, & our failure to invest in social and physical infrastructure perpetuates the cycle.
Our most common psychiatric diagnoses (depressive, anxiety, & attention-deficit disordres) have no correlation w/violence. While I agree w/having trained mental health professionals in schools, that won't stop gun violence. We must change our culture. #NeverAgain #GunReformNow
