2/ According to the reporting out this week by the New Yorker, the DNS lookups communicated between Alfa Bank and the Trump campaign we’re likely not emails but could be “foldering”. newyorker.com/magazine/2018/…
3/ “Foldering” is when you write an email, don’t send it, and someone else logs in to read it from the drafts folder. The cyber experts tasked with looking into this say the comms seemed like a primitive adhoc method someone had already used before.
4/ We know Manafort has used “foldering” because that’s how he communicated with his contacts that he was trying to manipulate when he was out on bail. One of his contacts was named Sager.
5/ Interestingly enough, Sager popped up this week in the reporting from @nytimes about Gates’ involvement with Psy-Group. Sager is the guy Birnbaum got Gates’ email from to discuss Psy-Groups capabilities nytimes.com/2018/10/08/us/…
6/ So check this out. Gates and Manafort went to work for Trump in March 2016. That’s the same month Birnbaum reached out to Gates about Psy-Group. The proposals came in April and outlined how they could manipulate social media to benefit Trump.
7/ Even weirder, the cyber experts report in the New Yorker piece about the Alfa Bank server that the bulk of the D.N.S. lookups happened between May and September.
8/ Keep in mind, Van der Zwaan’s father in law was a director at Alfa Bank, and Van der Zwaan went to jail for lying about communicating with Gates about using a law firm in the US to white wash a report about Yanukovich’s opponent, Temyshenko.
9/ So it’s not a stretch to presume that VDZ, with ties to Alfa Bank, had been “foldering” with Manafort and Gates prior to the communications between the trump server and Alfa Bank. Manafort has done it. There’s proof of that. And he and Gates worked with Alfa Bank before.
10/ So I think Manafort and Gates were using the Servers to communicate about election tampering with Alfa Bank using “foldering” from May to September (among other things) in a coordinated effort to influence the 2016 election.
11/ The cyber experts say in the New Yorker piece that it wasn’t emails, it was D.N.S. lookups, which match foldering, and that it wasn’t sophisticated, but seemed more like an ad-hoc use of a system already in place.
12/ Mueller already knows this. Gates and Manafort are cooperating. And Nader, the guy who paid Psy-Group has been offered immunity. I wouldn’t be surprised if it came out that foldering was used by Manafort and Gates to communicate with Alfa Bank in the past for Yanukovich.
13/ THIS is why Nader is one of the only people with immunity. He can attest to whether or not Psy-Group carried out the op, or if they were paid for their ideas that were executed by someone else. This is why the Manafort case is one of the only ones not handed off by Mueller.
14/ This conspiracy is the crux of the crimes of collusion. An update on the Manafort case is due to the court November 16th. Put some beans on it.
