2/ The question now becomes, with Corsi refusing his plea deal (which may or may not be true: he could go full Nunberg and cave), and the recent leaked draft of charges against him, Stone, and Assange; will they all be indicted together or separately. And of course, when?...
3/ I assume there will either be indictments very soon, or if Whitaker blocks them, Mueller could spell it all out in the upcoming Manafort sentencing document. Let’s recap all the clues that Manafort will now be charged with stuff he hasn’t been charged with yet...
4/ first clue was Mueller’s filing that included Rosenstein’s memo outlining the scope of the investigation saying Manafort was to be investigated for Crimes of Collusion. Then there was the minute order stating Manafort was seeking relief from current and FUTURE crimes...
5/ Then there was the discovery of the Manafort warrants showing five of his mobile phones were seized in March, showing that not only was he still under investigation, but that they were tracking his movements: something not associated with his money and tax crimes...
6/ Then there was the Mueller filing reminding Van Der Zwaan of his FOIA waiver because he had sensitive information about an open and ongoing investigation involving Manafort... and finally, the judge ruled the redacted warrants had to remain redacted because they contain...
7/ “information that’s not part of the current prosecutions involving Manafort”. So there you have it. All the evidence indicating Manafort now faces superseding indictments for collusion since he blew up his plea deal. So what’s it gonna be...
8/ Individual indictments for all now that the final midterm race is over and the election blackout is lifted? Or will Whitaker block them, causing Mueller to spell it all out in Manafort’s sentencing docs? Or will he file that under seal? We’ll know soon! #Beans
