It's not really @beck's fault. I mean, he did create the nightmare fuel, but I'm the dumbass that listened to it while asleep because of the nature of how I sleep.

I'm good at a few things; I can cook, I'm organized, I'm good at my job, and believe it or not, I used to be a junior-pro bowler to the point of having scholarships

I'm bad at a lot of things; drawing, puzzles, piano

But the thing I suck the most at in life

Is sleeping

I've been told by my parents that it's been a lifelong thing, including from when I was an infant

I've gone through great measures to try and induce sleep

I'm not even joking; I've got a full set-up and routine. There's lavender, black-out curtains, and white noise.

The latter is where I fucked up

I have a custom made white-noise thing on my phone; it's 20 minutes of ocean waves, followed by 20 minutes of heavy rainfall and light thunder on repeat all night

I blue-tooth it to a wireless speaker, and I'm usually out before the 40 mins is up

Last night was no exception. I was asleep. Peacefully, lovingly, happily asleep.

But I fucking forgot to turn on "repeat" on my phone, so instead of playing the custom white-noise thing again, it went on to the next song in my phone...
