Good evening family, welcome to another #Audacious broadcast today. It's a beautiful Sunday afternoon here and we just thank God for it.
I believe our week was fantastic, and I trust that this New Week will birth is more fulfilment.

Today is our 102nd broadcast on #Audacious.
We will be sharing today from a pleasant journey over the course of the weekend. The morale and point in the description is up to you.

I was in a city where I had my very first taste of higher education in Nigeria over the weekend. It was a sweet experience going to such a place again several years after.
This time, I didn't go for academics, I went for a friend's event.

I got into the city, and everything I knew about the city came gushing back to my memory. I saw the lifestyle I once had to live and cope with, I saw a people who are almost negligent of major issues or worries other than to be able to feed well and feed the home too. #Audacious

To the event, it was a great success, at the end of the day, the groom went home with his bride, event was over.
I was back on the road to journey back to base, then I was faced with the reality of the lifestyle of the people I once lived with. #Audacious

I saw recklessness, I saw nonchalance, I saw intentional degradation, I saw resigned fates etc.
A city should not have these, but even if a city can, not this particular one, it's a city that boasted many great triumphs and successes, so it should be doing better #Audacious

As far as I'm concerned, Excellence is 'cultural'. If you don't have a culture of excellence, you may not be able to attain excellence, for like beget like.

If you have a picture of what you want to build in front of you, immediately you sight what is not there when the building process finally starts, you will take it away.
In other words, if there's no picture of excellence in front of you, there's nothing to run to. #Audacious

I have seen two people do the same thing separately on their own, and I can tell which among them have the culture of excellence and which does not.
It's not about just doing anything, it's about doing whatever it is, however small to excellence.

Why do you paint the walls of your room with colour blue, why not black?
Some people will answer to that colour blue is their favourite... Yes, but is that all there is to the colour?

If you truly have excellence as a culture, you won't just do anything anyhow, your cultural upbringing of excellence will be loud in all you do.
You can't but pay attention to details.

When you get a job, a contract or anything, do it your 'culture way', not to the measure of the mediocrity provided to you in the beginning.
You are the one that should keep up your culture. Do not let their mediocrity meddle into your life. #Audacious

Until we begin to see excellence as a very huge part of our lives, we will never see the need not to allow mediocrity creep in.

Do a job and let your client be the one to tell you 'I never expected that you would go to this length... '

When client come to rubbish your work, and tell you where to adjust, it is mostly to show the side of the divide you're in.
Choose excellence and live it.

Back to my narration, as I was leaving the event place, seeing what ensue in the land, I just began to smile at myself, I was carried away with all I was seeing, and that made me to appreciate the culture of excellence.
