A little extra on this rather important thread - how our rich kids, because they are raised in an environment of absolute impunity, carry that attitude with them wherever they go...
Two years ago, a 26-year old Nigerian, Bala Chinda, was sentenced to life in prison in the UK for murdering a £1800-a-night call girl, Jessica McGraa.

The story was splashed across quite a few British newspapers at the time, and the @MailOnline especially made some hay with it.
Chinda had arrived in the UK for his Masters at @RobertGordonUni in January 2016, and soon began to indulge in, err, extra-curricular activities.

In February of 2016, he rented the services of Ms. McGraa, for £200/hour, at current rates, is ₦94,000/hour.
On the night of February 12, 2016, Chinda struck up a deal with Ms. McGraa, and they went to his place together.

For whatever reason, they left the city centre and went to her place at Union Terrace. I know that area a bit because that's where @4eyedmonk used to live.
No one knows exactly what happened, what is certain, is that sometime during the night, fun and games turned deadly, and Chinda smothered McGraa with a pillow, then strangled her with a scarf.
For me, one issue here is the amount of money involved as it indicates someone used to getting whatever he demands, no questions asked.

This is what feeds into the kind of impunity he displayed, this attitude shows up in the story shared by @sugabelly all those years ago.
We have, in our country of mass poverty, an elite whose kids live a life of little princelings, and because of the kind of country we have built, they know they can get away with anything.
One can only wonder just how many poor girls have been raped, and possibly killed, by the likes of Bala Chinda in #Nigeria, and nothing happens, because, hey, na oga pikin.
It also throws up the rather important issue of our attitude to women, and our moralistic behaviour, so permit me to bore you with another story, one that caught my attention when I lived in the UK.
Between October and December 2006, the bodies of five women were discovered in #Ipswich.

All of bodies were found naked, and all had been strangled. If memory serves me, none had been raped, but they had had consensual sex before they were killed.
@SuffolkPolice, without any publicity other than announcing the discovery of the bodies, and warning women to stay away from the red light district until the mystery was solved, set up a massive sting operation, and before the end of 2006, had arrested Steven Wright.
Of course Wright denied it, but DNA testing linked him to all five women, and the case went to trial. Of course, Wright was sent to prison, never to breathe the air again.

But let us for a brief moment, consider if the #IpswichSerialMurders had happened in #Nigeria.
I daresay in #Nigeria, the killer would have gotten away, and would have continued killing.

After all, "these are bad girls who are spoiling the morality of our society."

Remember the AEPB carrying trucks around to arrest girls some years ago? That's Nigeria's attitude.
This attitude is tossed at the brave girls who stand on our street corners night after night, because they have to put food on the table for family members we can't see.

Family members who like in Ms. McGraa's case, don't know what Mummy/Sister has to do, in order to feed me.
You see, #Nigeria as a society does not care for its downtrodden, and so all sorts of predators have the chance, quite happily I might add, to do what they do, while we are busy moralising.

But in all of this, there are important questions we fail to ask.
It is "easy" for girls to go and stand on the streets because they have something to sell.

If girls from a particular age group and demographic are increasingly turning to "runs" in order to make ends meet giving our rising unemployment numbers, what are their boys doing?
