OK we’re gonna do a 10 PM thread
Ingraham says she will air her interview a bit later. First she is doing a segment on how liberals are "using tragedy to silence the president."
Ingraham asks Trump what he sees as his role in Pittsburgh. He says, "Well I'm just going to pay my respects."
Trump on not cancelling his rally after the massacre: "Rallies are meant to be fun. Rallies are meant to be...you saw the group saying don't tone it down don't tone it down. So we had a great rally in Illinois...that's the way it should be."
Trump on whether he needs to clarify what he means by calling himself a "nationalist": "To me I don't have to clarify. It means I love the country." He adds: "I look at two things: globalists, and nationalists."
Trump says he loves the country, and, as for "nationalist," "I don't see any other connotation than that." He blames "the political correctness world" for making other suggestions. He adds, again, "I'm not a globalist."
Asked about charges of antisemitism, Trump touts his move of the embassy to Jerusalem. He says he just got an award from Netnayahu for this.
Trump says he got "the most beautiful plaque" from Netanyahu for moving the embassy to Jerusalem. He says he will show it to Ingraham later. He lies that the embassy move cost only $400,000. The reno will cost at least $21 million.
Trump baselessly claims that Obama would have gone to war with North Korea if he had been given an extra year. (This is a toned-down version of his usual lie that Obama actually told him he was about to go to war.)
Asked how it helps expand his base to call the media the enemy of the people, Trump says he'll address this later. He continues to say the usual things he says about North Korea.
Trump boasts about his crowd size and the ratings he is bestowing upon Fox.
Trump on how he put "bomb" in quotation marks and how Cesar Sayoc was an avid supporter of his: "No, I, look. He was, he was, insane a long time before - you look at his medical records, he was insane for a long time."
! Trump complains that the media didn't blame Obama in its headlines on the Charleston church massacre.
Trump complains about Dave Weigel's inaccurate tweet 11 months ago, which Weigel quickly retracted, on the size of the crowd at a Trump rally.
When Ingraham pressed Trump on his rhetoric, noting it isn't Reagan-like, Trump said, "He didn't have social media."
That was "part one." Most of it was an extended media-bashing session.
The context for this was Trump's unhappiness with the Washington Post front page that mentioned him in connection with the attacks this month. Trump said this was unfair, that they didn't do this for Obama and Charleston.
Trump is attacking Andrew Gillum, criticizing him for the Hamilton tickets he took. He calls Gillum a "stone-cold thief."
Trump says that electing Andrew Gillum will turn Florida into Venezeula. (There is no Democratic victory that will turn anywhere in America into Venezuela.)
Responding to Obama saying he's "fearmongering" about impoverished migrants, Trump says, "Well he's trying to do the opposite."
Trump responds to Obama's "fearmongering" accusation about the caravan by trying to fearmonger some more. He says, "Men. Young. Strong. A lot of bad people. A lot of bad people in there."
Trump says that he is going to hold the caravan's asylum seekers in "tent cities," not buildings: "We're going to put tents up all over the place. We're not going to build structures...we're going to have tents."
Trump rejects estimates of the shrinking size of the caravan, saying: "I'm pretty good at figuring out how many people." He adds, "That's called an invasion of our country."
Trump repeats his usual false claim about Asian-American unemployment being at a record low. It hit a low in May but has jumped back up, now to 0.9 points above the level it was at in Obama's last full month.
Asked if he'll do events in inner cities to attract African-Americans, Trump says, "I'm doing them. I already have them scheduled." He does not have them scheduled.
Trump on the markets: "Now we're down just a little tiny bit."
Trump keeps saying that car companies are coming back to Pennsylvania. There are no auto assembly plants in Pennsylvania.
For the 70-somethingth time, Trump lies that the U.S. has a $500 billion annual trade deficit with China. This has never once happened, it was $337 billion last year, make it stop.
Trump, rejecting the allegation of collusion with Russia, notes that Hillary Clinton did not make sufficient visits to Wisconsin and Michigan.
