2/ Post rightly focuses on first order, which is disparity of compensation on identifiers and systemic bias. I agree 1000% with that focus.

Operationalizing a system is hard. I wanted to highlight challenges—not excuses (!) but provide tools/motivation for gaining transparency. Excerpt from post “Today gender, race, and class…”
3/ The most frustrating thing as an employee is finding out the compensation of another employee and believing there is unfairness in the ‘system’, whether you are paid more or less, something seems broken.

This is a slightly old article, but it's still a crucial read: it explains the system of "White Socialism," which the US created in the 1930's-60's as a counteroffer to (Red) Socialism.

"White Socialism" is the system of guarantees that Americans got for being "good citizens:" pensions and unemployment insurance via Social Security, employer-provided (and tax-subsidized) health care, education via the GI Bill, mortgages via Fannie Mae, and so on.
It was billed as the "anti-Socialism," but it did fundamentally the same kinds of things that Socialism did — provide a community-funded safety net so that everyone could afford to take more risks in their life, and have some certainty. But it came with one big asterisk.

Thread on the river of tears flowing from the “pro-Russia” social media club because Uncle Putin hasn’t (and won’t) subject Israel to a “shock and awe” doctrine:

1. Four years ago this club didn’t exist. It came into “existence” after the war in Donbass started.
2. The alleged aim of this club was to support the people of Donetsk and Lugansk whilst they faced extermination at the hands of the Banderist junta in Kiev. But already in 2014 this club changed its mind. Strelkov decided to abandon Slavyansk, and then Ukraine captured it.
3. Then Minsk 1 came along after the UAF was smashed in Ilovaisk. At this time there were some distant rumblings of “Putin betrayed Novorossiya” from Westerners, but it wasn’t yet an earthquake. 5 months later and the UAF were smashed again, this time in Debaltsevo.
