Going to market is costly. Specifically, the startup costs (funding requirements) to create value for IT are high (commonly $100s of millions). That is OLD way. Where OSS come in? ... 2/4
Enterprise-focused software co’s that chose a commercial OSS path to market have the opportunity to _radically_ lower the costs (VC) to create value. Done right, commercial OSS economics are amazing! 3/4
