So the process of trying to get on the free WiFi at Geneva airport was so convoluted it was easier to scan for French networks, get EU roaming and use my phone as a hotspot. The French border is the other side of the runway, 600m away.
They have some odd "we need to know who you are to use our WiFi" thing, a bit like Italy. Lads - this doesn't work. Also, some laughably poor UX in the lift lol Whatever you do, don't assume the D button is for getting to D gates 😊
Also everyone seems to start speaking German with me instead of French. Maybe I look German?
