Fuck these assholes. GOP has no interest in converting. They have no interest in building a bridge. They have no interest in working together. You either give the GOP what they want, or they obstruct, while whining about fairness, until they can burn your shit to the ground.
They don't even hide it. This is their plan. Obstruct. Smear. Whine about fairness. Repeal. They're not looking to do their jobs. They're not looking to work with the left.
Look at the last two years. They've controlled all branches of government and all they've done is try to dismantle, repeal (or attempt to repeal), sabotage, remove protections, and offer either no replacements or bad ones. They're the party of "No!" and they also have no ideas.
You can't work with conservatives. Period. It's high time democrats (or liberals and leftists in general) stop even trying to work with them. It's hard enough to bridge divides between factions of the left. It is literally impossible to work with conservatives. So don't even try.
Furthermore, conservatives will exploit any loophole in the interest of pushing things they want through, or obstructing at every turn, or just doing whatever they want. If there isn't a specific law stopping them, they're going to do it. The left needs to do this too. So do it.
Start playing the same game. Stop letting conservatives guilt you into playing by rules that either don't exist, or that they simply don't follow. If they don't care, if they don't follow the rules they try to place on you, don't let them guilt you into playing by those rules.
If they refuse to play by the rules, they essentially created new rules, and say "That's how the game is played? Noted. Wait for what happens when it's my turn." Keep an audio clip of them to play back when they complain. Not to shame (they have none) but to illustrate precedent.
But remember. Stop trying to build a bridge to work with conservatives. They don't want to work with you. They're not interested in doing their job. To them it's all political theatre, and burning down everything you did, or try to do. Don't work with them. Make them come to you.
