Fascism Today is using the currently fashionable definition of "doxxing" that I still feel is too broad to be useful, where "someone attached a name to the face of a Nazi at a Nazi rally" qualifies.
I think this is only defensible if you're going to engage with the difference between that and the public release of addresses, family members, bank details, etc. that the word usually refers to.
The point is, "doxxing" usually refers to inviting harassment, not inviting social consequences for actions people do publicly with no effort to disguise themselves.
Burley doesn't actually specify what leftist "doxxing" efforts entail. He mentions finding people's names and contacting their employers, but not if that is the full extent.
In my experience, that's the only organized "doxxing" I hear about from the Left, in which case a distinction between that and what they do to us needs to be drawn, and there should be some discussion of the ethics of both.

Burley is remiss in doing neither.
Without those discussions, Burley both misrepresents the work of antifascists *and* provides cover for leftists who use doxxing as petty revenge instead of social accountability.
(book is still good, don't @ me)
