In this thread, sharing a facebook post of a lady named Nandini Jayaram which brought tears to my eyes.
In my imagination when Ram Mandir is built. On 1st day, I see a parade no different from the 1 on Republic day. I envision the murtis from all our peeths & from beloved temples coming in their rathas, greeting, celebrating, rejoicing return of their brother to his rightful spot.
I see my Devi Arya Durga travelling with her unwavering devotees in a ratha (the one she goes out in sometimes for a parikrama), to the airport and getting on a plane for the first time.. I pray she will be wearing the saree I chadhaaoed.
I imagine she will meet Dambaba & Shanta Durga and all the Nav Durgas. Goa sending their contingent... a plane full of Gods.. going to Ayodhya.
I imagine my Siddhivinayak bapa being coaxed & placated to make the trip.
I see Lord Jagannath gloriously bedecked on his way from Puri.

I see Bhagwati Devi and Kamyakhya Devi...I see my gods from each state arrive to bless Ram Lalla...The heavens will open forth that day and we shall stand shoulder to shoulder as that preicious first Aarti inside grand temple gets beamed across the world.
And I pray a priest will be sent from Shabrimala to do the honours... conducting that first puja- a gift from lord Ayyappa... the contingent from Kerala being given the honour.. because they deserve it! Nobody comes close in recent times in the display of Shraddha and bhakti.
I pray I will be there muttering, crying, going hysterical ... But no matter what language we will hear on the streets that day...Translation will not be needed... Hindus north south east west accompanying their deities will be in perfect accord...I dream... I'm always dreaming.
I hope the reality is as beautiful as my fantasy. Jai Shri Ram!
