Full house at Namur this morning for the presentation of D.Hagen @cssflux on CSSF cloud computing circular 17/654

✅ Lots of time planned for Q&A

#cloud #cssf
First a reminder of the circular requirements to have all attendees on the same page

Lots of questions already at this stage
What is the current situation?

D.Hagen drawing attention to making backups outside the cloud “sometimes”
CSSF generally agreed on the materiality assessment of applicants
And now... WHAT IS COMING 🥁

The update to the circular could be issued as early as in two-weeks time

❌ But there are some consultations being finalized and dependencies on the upcoming #EBA guidelines on outsourcing
*Expected* changes in CSSF 17/654
Areas where proportionality may play

▶️ “Outsourcing of material activities in the cloud must be treated seriously and no flexibility is provided in this case” ‼️
