ICYMI Republican Chair of Judiciary @ChuckGrassley spreads disinformation to defend Trump attacks on the Judiciary and Chief Justice Roberts. Obama never “rebuked” Alito. It was Alito who rudely mouthed “not true” during a SOTU where POTUS Obama criticized Citizens United ruling.
@ChuckGrassley What actually happened: Justice Alito rudely muttered "NOT TRUE" when Obama called for legislation at SOTU to address CitizensUnited which overturned 100 yrs of law & opened floodgates to foreign money/influence (Pretty damn right too!). But Grassley & GOP push alternative facts.
