Best explanation of why this is happening: In 1993, Trump, then a New York real estate mogul deeply invested in Atlantic City casinos, testified before Congress that the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act was unfair and hurting his business. “They don’t look like Indians to me.”
Reality Check: This is all about the casino industry and big money. Whites want to sabotage the deal tribes have to build and operate casinos on their lands. And we all remember how well The Donald did with his AC casino -- just one of his bankruptcies.
