With so much happening today, this didn't get enough attention. The voting rights complaint filed in federal court yesterday by @staceyabrams new group #FairFightGeorgia is truly impressive. It lays out the network and choreography of voter suppression in the state. 1/
It raises claims of intentional discrimination (violations of the U.S. Constitution) & claims under Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. As I alluded to on @amjoyshow two weeks ago, the complaint seeks to place Georgia under preclearance through the VRA's "bail-in" provision. 2/
