Cohen has admitted that he was still discussing a Trump development project in Russia as late as June 2016, the month Trump Jr. held the Clinton-related meeting with the Russian lawyer, and had shortly before that been discussing going to Russia for talks. vox.com/2018/11/29/181…
Cohen has also admitted to taking steps in the direction of Trump possibly going to Russia during the campaign. Trump is referred to solely as an “individual,” but the document makes clear it’s him.
Cohen also admitted that he spoke for 20 minutes to someone in the office of Putin’s press secretary about his business inquiry, in Jan. 2016. He’d lied that he never heard back. So we now know an executive VP/fixer at Trump’s company talked to Putin’s team during the campaign.

In my experience, immediately fact-checking Trump's immigration lies is harder than immediately fact-checking most other Trump lies -- they're often written into his speeches by people more sophisticated at deception than he is.
Most of Trump's lying is just Trump being a liar -- it's him ad-libbing out of speeches that are more or less factual. The immigration lying is an administration-wide strategy.
He repeats a lot of them, so outlets should be prepared to respond to those right away. But there's really no way to counteract a barrage of live-to-air Trump immigration lies with fact-checking, even if live-TV-fact-checking were a common thing - you can't do it fast enough.

Trump is doing a lengthy Trump monologue about immigration. Sample: "Children are the biggest beneficiaries of what we want to do." "Three or four women with tape on their mouths, and they're tied up..." "Brand new walls. Beautiful walls. Steel walls."
Trump admits that a steel wall would be more expensive than a non-steel wall, but he says he probably wants to do a steel wall "because I really feel the other side feels better about it." (The other side does not feel substantially better about it.)
There is, again, no basis for Trump's repeated claim that San Diego begged him to build a wall there. Even San Diego's Republican mayor opposes the wall.

First of all, this was not a spy, it was an informant.
Second, we don't know that this was an informant placed there by the DOJ. It could just as well be a campaign whistle blower alerting the FBI of criminal actions by the campaign.
Third, if this was a spy placed there to undermine the campaign there would have been leaks before the election. Instead this investigation was kept secret until after the election.
