How long have they been doing this? I'll bet decades.
What other European govts are doing this? The Dutch can't be alone.
How much of world opinion re Israel has been shaped by European-funded propaganda?
The Dutch Minister responsible is an ex-UNWRA official, wife of an ex-Palestinian Authority diplomat. And if you ever wondered who funds groups like Breaking The Silence and why... now you know.
Finally, I can't help but reflect on the fact that the percentage of Dutch Jews murdered in the Holocaust was higher than any other Western European country - over 72%. More than Germany even. And still they won't leave us alone.

Because antisemitism always come with other baggage. Paranoia. Embracing of conspiracy theories. Purging of non-orthodox thinkers. Intellectual decline, followed by economic decline.

80 years ago this week, 1 year before WWII began, the “International Community” held a conference to discuss the plight of Jews under Nazi rule. Jews had been stripped of citizenship & legal rights and were trying to flee as refugees. The world decided to do...nothing.
After the International Community decided not to help the Jews, Chaim Weizmann, future President of Israel, said “The world seemed to be divided into two parts – those places where the Jews could not live and those where they could not enter." #EvianConference
People may wonder why Jews and Israelis are so cynical and distrustful of the “International Community.” It’s because when the knife was at our throats, and everyone knew it, they still did nothing. #EvianConference

Tragically what the #CorruptGOP doesn't seem to get is that because they are not dealing in facts, & they are propagating falsehoods to their base, an entire generation of Republican voters, workers, apparachik's at every level; the U.S.A. loses ultimately. There are
People basing real decisions, at real jobs- both public & private sector-on false information. We have the most powerful military, biggest Economy, in the most industrialized nation in the world making Domestic & Foreign Policy based on fasle information.
This can & will end only one of two ways. Either we reverse course before catastrophic consequence or we experience what could be the most catastrophic multi-national event that has occurred since WW2 & the most grave consequences since our Nation's inception nearly 300 yrs ago.

It was the time we truly realised the power of social media and instant messaging services with regard to disaster management. Many were stranded on roof-tops without any other contact to the world other than their mobile phones. Whatsapp brilliantly solved the issue. (2/n)
